You can call me Jo, Jojo, Joan, or Joanne tho. Which one do you prefer? Or, do you have any special nickname for me? Haha, kidding.
Let’s start from the beginning; I was born in Singapore, but I am one hundred percent Indonesian! You may ask ‘how’, right? Long-story-short, my dad was finishing his PhD in National University Singapore. He’s such a family oriented man so he couldn’t bare my mom away from him back then, so yeah, I happened. Gladly, he is a great Architecture Professor in one of well known university in Yogyakarta now. My mom? Well- she doesn’t like if I talk about her a lot but let me tell you.
She said, her real job is a ✦ housewife ✦ at this point I don’t really agree because she said- her side job is ✧ making music ✧ can you believe that? Whatever on her mind, I think it’s all about her bucin-ness over my dad that she prioritized family first over everything, same goes to my dad.
I don’t really know much about both of my parents job but I know some;
My dad: designing cool buildings, developing environments.
My mom: composing musics, co-producing musics, but doesn’t want to be an artist herself (such a waste).

Oh, me? Hehe.
I discovered peace in drawing since I was a child. I lived in Singapore until 6, and that’s where I found I like to draw a lot, I met so many childhood friends that have the same interest with me. Ugh, what a memories. Since then, I draw a lot. I love having those fantastic imagines inside my head.
Growing up, we moved to our beloved country, Yogyakarta. In that society, I heard a lot of mocks when I told people I want to be an artist, a painter, or any kind of job that using my imaginaries. Surely I was unsure about my dream, my hobby, but maybe- my story is a little bit different with other people.When people have their parents to doube their dreams, I have the opposite way.I was quite shocked over my parents’ support when people out there just mocking me up. From there I realize that I am the one who will walk on my own path.
So here I am. :D
